IMTerm does not collect or transmit any user data, terminal session content, or usage telemetry. All session data stays on your server or local machine.
When using cloud-based LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini), screen content is sent to the selected provider's API for processing. When using Ollama, all processing is local. The choice of provider is entirely yours.
License keys are validated locally. No phone-home or online activation is required.
IMTerm uses a session cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict) for authentication in server mode. No tracking cookies are used.
